KAWAZA VILLAGE Robin Pope Safaris and the Nsefu Community have worked together to start the Kawaza Village. The village is a day to day village with extra huts built to house overnight visitors. Day visitors are also welcome. Time is spent with the villagers, learning about their life. There is the chance to meet the Chief, a local traditional healer, to spend a morning with the ladies collecting water and cooking, to help with constructions and dance with the ladies. The food is totally traditional and delicious! Many guests say the visit to Kawaza is the highlight of their safari.
