Lacam means "cliff" in the local Sabine language. Located near the Mount Elgon National Park, some 5 hours northeast of Uganda's capital Kampala, Lacam Lodge offers superb views of the Sipi waterfalls - one of Uganda's most romantic and beautiful falls.

A series of four unique waterfalls culminating in the 100 metre magical Sipi Falls. Lacam Lodge is set in attractive green grounds, in the foothills of Mount Elgon & overlooks Ugandaâ€™s most romantic and beautiful waterfall Guests are accommodated in comfortable thatched bandas with private facilities and stunning views of Sipi Falls and the Karamajong plains.

The lodge is the perfect base for exploring the foothills of Mount Elgon or just relaxing and enjoy the surrounding scenery. Avid mountaineers can use Lacam lodge as a base for climbing Mt Elgon. Absailing and rock climbing can be arranged, and visitors can go for nature walks at the nearby forest exploration centre.

Accommodation

Homely log cabins constructed out of local timber and grass thatch from the plains.
The beds are raised, so that residents can lie down and soak up the view.
Each banda is spaciously self contained with 2 double beds and large verandas.
The 3 rooms with shared facilities are perfect for travellers on a tighter budget.

Camp available at the cliff edge. Simply bring your tent and camp on one of Lacam Lodgeâ€™s terraces.
