7 Night Package – 3 Nights Zanzibar, 1 night Luxury Seasonal camp and 3 nights Saadani National Park

Day 1: Arrive at Zanzibar airport and transfer by car to Nungwi in the stunning North coast of Zanzibar - stay The Zanzibari (D).



Days 2 & 3: The beautiful coastline with its palm-fringed beaches creates an image of a forgotten paradise. Most are protected by coral reefs and are made of white coral sand. Here you can relax on the balmy, tropical shores of the Indian Ocean. In the morning it may be possible to see some of the local fisherman, in their traditional dhows, bringing in their catch (B, D).



Spend the days relaxing on the beach or snorkelling in crystal-clear water. There are bicycles for hire or several optional excursions can be arranged through the hotel, such as scuba diving, boat excursions, fishing trips or a spice tour of the island. You could also opt to visit the nearby turtle sanctuary where injured turtles and other marine animals are cared for until they are well enough to be released back to the wild.

Day 4: Transfer from The Zanzibari directly to the airport and fly to Saadani National Park, transfer to a seasonal camp deep in the heart of Saadani on the remote Wami River.



Late afternoon boat safari then dinner under the stars before bedtime and the Hippo chorus (L, D).



Day 5: Afternoon game drive in the park in open 4x4 safari vehicles. Saadani is a truly unique place with beautiful scenery and a surprising variety of wildlife. The beautiful accommodation is in keeping with the natural surroundings and makes extensive use of locally sourced materials. All of the tented bandas are raised high on wooden platforms dotted along the shoreline facing the Indian Ocean. Settle into Tent with a View for 3 nights (B, L, D).



Day 6: Safari options include foot safaris, 4x4 game drives and boat safaris (these safaris and park fees are not included in the price). Overnight at Tent With A View (B, L, D).

Day 8: Enjoy game viewing en route to the airstrip before your flight back to Zanzibar.
