Chem Chem Serengeti

semi-permanent tented camp changes location depending on the migration of wildlife.
Between its two sites, the Chem Chem Serengeti showcases the simple elegance of an intimate, classically tented camp. Just steps away from the world-renowned Serengeti National Park, guests benefit both from excellent wildlife viewing opportunities within the Park, as well as the freedom of tailor-made excursions outside of the Park, such as walking
safaris, evening game drives, and picnics. At the Chem Chem Serengeti camp,visitors can enjoy the best of “bush” life without having to make any comprises in comfort.

For five to six months of the year the Camp is based just to the northeast of Serengeti National Park in the Loliondo Game-Controlled Area, near Klein’s Gate, and then spends three to four months in the southeast in Piyaya, known for the Maasai rock paintings and the nearby Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area.
The Serengeti National Park is best known for its wildlife migration during which over a million wildebeest and 200,000 zebras flow from the north to the south. It is unique for
having one of the oldest ecosystems in the world.
