As the great migration makes its way across the expansive plains of the Serengeti, so the luxury seasonal Olakira Camp follows – offering its guests a unique and exceptional bush experience.

Olakira Camp operates in the prime wildlife areas of the southern (Ndutu) and northern Serengeti (Mukutano- at Mara River). Though the camp is positioned to be within reach of the Migration, proximity to the Migration can't be guaranteed due to the unpredictable nature of animals and the limited availability of good campsites in case conditions change.

From mid December to March, the camp is located in the southern Serengeti (specifically the Ndutu area – moving to the NCAA side).
During this period, members of the vast wildebeest herd give birth almost simultaneously,a natural spectacle witnessed firsthand by guests of Olakira Camp. The camp then relocates to the Northern Serengeti for June to early December, just in time to see the migration moving towards the Mara River. Aside from the Migration, this area offers excellent game viewing all year around allowing game drives along the Mara River and into the cat populated Lobo area.

Olakira is an intimate mobile safari camp made up of 8 spacious and comfortable tents. Each tent features a king size bed, en suite bathroom and private veranda with a stunning view over the Serengeti. The camp moves twice a year between carefully chosen campsites, allowing for superb game viewing at all times.
