Step back in time and experience the history of the world-renowned Cape Winelands. Start off in Paarl with a visit to the Drakenstein Prison where Nelson Mandela was released in February 1990.
Next up is Franschhoek, settled by the French Huguenots who bought with them an expert knowledge of good food and wine! See for yourself with a spell of wine tasting at a selection of vineyards and you can grab a snack in gastronomic capital of South Africa. You will enjoy a light lunch in the historic town of Stellenbosch and some more wine of course! Finally, after a wonderful day of excess, you will be transferred by your responsible driver back to your hotel in Cape Town.
Lunch and beverages are excluded.
Wine tastings and the cellar tour are included.
