DAY 1: arrival and transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Arrival at Kigali International Airport where you will be met by habari africa’s Safari handling representative.
You will be given a briefing together with a snack or hot lunch followed by a city tour around Kigali and a leisurely drive north to Ruhengeri
Dinner and overnight at Mountain Gorilla Nest B$B


DAY 2: Golden monkey tracking & Birding
Early breakfast and then drive to the park offices
0700hrs where you will be briefed and allocated a guide/tracker for the golden monkeys and birds followed by a drive to where the trails start and your trek begins here.
After your trek, the driver will be waiting at the base.
Lunch at Mountain Gorilla Nest
Afternoon take a scenic drive to view the twin lakes of Burera and Ruhondo
Dinner and Overnight at Mountain Gorilla Nest B$B

DAY 3: Gorilla tracking
Early breakfast and then drive to the park offices
At the park offices, you will be allocated a gorilla group followed by a briefing by your trackers/guides
After your briefing drive to where the trails start and this is where your gorilla trek begins.
Upon sighting the gorillas, you will stay with them for a magical hour before
returning to the base where your driver will be waiting for you.
Lunch at Mountain Gorilla Nest
Afternoon drive further to Gisenyi at the shores of Lake Kivu
Overnight at Lake Kivu Serena Hotel – B&B


DAY 4: Lake kivu- Kigali
Morning at leisure with an opportunity to swim or relax at the beach
Afternoon take your leisurely drive back to Kigali
Dinner at a top restaurant
Overnight Kigali Serena Hotel B$B

DAY 5: Airport transfer

Transfer to the airport depending on your departure time.
