Barra resort is a great resort for families and adventure.The resort is geared towards fun and activities for the whole family.

Flamingo bay is 2 km from Barra lodge and we do offer complimentary transfers between the two lodges throughout the day. Only children above 12 years are allowed at Flamingo Bay.
Pomene Bay Lodge is 605km north of Maputo and 170km south of Vilanculos. Pomene is a beautiful remote resort. Pomene is only accessible by 4x4. A Road transfer to Pomene is available in Inhambane for R700 returned per person, one way is R350 per person and kids pay the same as adults (price is subject to change) and subject to availability.
All resorts accept Visa and Master credit cards along with Rands and other major currencies. Pomene Lodge however charges a 5% surcharge when using credit cards.
Flights are only available on LAM (local Mozambique airline) they depart every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday from O R Tambo direct to Inhambane. Road transfers from the airport to the lodge are complimentary (30 km away) approximately an hour’s drive.

The flight costs vary from R 3 500.00 - R 4 900.00 per person return (all rates are subject to change), the rate all depends on what class of seat we can secure, the flight costs do include the departure tax but not the arrival tax which is R 17.00 per person.
