Begin with an exciting safari to Tanzania's North Western region that is designed for travelers who would like a wilderness experience. Katavi is a park with open plains. Mahale Mountain Park is situated on the shores of Lake Tanganyika, and behind are the forests that are home to Chimpanzees.The final leg of the safari, takes the traveller to Rwanda for the Mountain Gorilla trekking in Volcano National Park (Parc National des Volcans)which is by far Rwanda's major international attraction.

Day 1&2 Travel. Arrive Kilimanjaro-Arusha, overnight stay @ Arusha Coffee Lodge.

Day 3,4,5 Fly to Katavi National Park. Game drives and walks, 3 nights Chada Katavi.

Day 6,7,8&9 Fly to Mahale National Park, 3 morning Chimpanzee treks, afternoon activities on the lake, 4 nights Greystoke Mahale.

Day 10 Fly to Kigali and overnight stay @ Kigali Serena Hotel. Day 11 Travel to Ruhengeri, overnight stay @ Gorilla Nest Lodge.

Day 12 First gorilla trek. Overnight stay @ Gorilla Nest Lodge.

Day 13 Second gorilla trek. Return to Kigali in the afternoon. Overnight stay @Kigali Serena Hotel.

Day 14&15 Morning at leisure. Depart on your scheduled flight to Nairobi connecting with an onward overnight flight.
