Day 1 - Arrival NAIROBI
Following your arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi you are met by your Kenyan safari guides who transfer you to Nairobi Serena Hotel for your overnight accommodation

Days 2 & 3 – NAIROBI / LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK
Following breakfast you drive along the floor of the Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park. Over 400 species of birds have been recorded here, and although birds are a major attraction, you may also see Rothschild's Giraffe, Grant's and Thomson's Gazelle, Impala, Common Zebra, African Buffalo, Eland, Waterbuck and several other species of plains game. After checking into your accommodations at Lake Nakuru Lodge you have lunch and depart on a game drive into this beautiful wildlife sanctuary. B/L/D

Days 4, 5 & 6 – LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK / SAMBURU GAME RESERVE
In the morning you drive north to the Samburu Game Reserve in Kenya’s Northern Frontier District. Grevy's Zebra, Somali Ostrich, Beisa Oryx, Gerenuk, Olive Baboon, Gunther’s Dik-dik and Reticulated Giraffe thrive in this harsh but picturesque landscape. The big cats, Lion, Leopard and Cheetah are also frequently seen and the park is famous for the herds of Elephant that spend much of their day feeding and playing along the riverbanks. You spend the next three nights at Samburu Serena Lodge , a luxurious accommodation in a beautiful setting on the banks of the Uaso Ngiro River. B/L/D

DayS 7, 8 & 9 – SAMBURU GAME RESERVE / MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
In the morning you transfer to the Samburu airstrip and fly to the Masai Mara Game Reserve. This northern extension of the Serengeti ecosystem virtually throbs with life. The Mara’s savannas are famous for their concentration of grazing and browsing animals and their predators - Lion, Leopard, Cheetah and Spotted Hyena. Morning and afternoon game drives take you to different areas, depending on where your guides feel you have the best chances of finding exceptional wildlife. For an extra fee a day of fishing for Nile Perch in Lake Victoria ($450), a hot air balloon ride over the savanna ($425) and a visit to a Maasai village ($20) are optional activities that can be worked into the schedule. Dinner is served under the star-studded African sky and, as the evening temperature falls, you appreciate the warmth of the campfire. Your meals and overnight accommodations are at the Mara Serena Lodge. B/L/D

Day 10 – MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE / NAIROBI
Your morning game drive provides a final opportunity to spend time with the wild herds of this area. Later in the morning you transfer to the airstrip, fly back to Nairobi and check into dayrooms at the Nairobi Serena Hotel. In the afternoon you may swim, shop or relax in one of the hotel lounges. In the evening you transfer to JKA Airport and check in for your flight.
