Day 1 & 2
Arrive at the Maun International Airport where you will be met by your pilot and shown to your plane for your light aircraft flight to the Okavango Delta.

Pom Pom Camp is located on Pom Pom Island in a private concession situated in the heart of the Okavango Delta and on the head waters of the Xudum River system.

The Okavango Delta is one of the last remaining unspoiled wilderness areas of Africa. The Delta is fed by the floodwaters of Central Africa and covers an area of some 16000 square kilometers. These waters fan out into the Okavango Delta forming a wetland system of beautiful palm-fringed channels, lagoons and islands that support a wealth of fauna and flora alike.

The private concession lies on the western boundary of the Moremi Game Reserve and offers superb Okavango scenery and a true Okavango wilderness experience. The Camp is set under a grove of shady trees and overlooks a beautiful lagoon enhancing the already spectacular Okavango sunsets.
The main building is attractively designed and constructed of thatch and canvas and comprises lounge, dining, bar and pool areas, as well as a gift shop and the boma area. The swimming pool is situated close to the main lodge and the bar, making a perfect location to enjoy a relaxing afternoon in the heat of the day.

Accommodation consists of nine luxury safari tents in true traditional safari style, all with full en-suite semi open ablution facilities. Eight en-suite safari tents with overlooking views of the PomPom lagoon. The tents are uniquely positioned under the shade of the surrounding trees. One of the tents enjoys a private bush bath positioned on a secluded deck in-front of the luxury tent.

Day 3 & 4
Enjoy breakfast after which you will be transferred back to the airstrip for your onward flight to Mapula Lodge.

Mapula Lodge is situated in the North Eastern area of the Okavango Delta, just outside the Moremi Game Reserve. This is a private area thus being able to offer a full spectrum of activities.
The main complex with its sweeping decks overlooks the permanent lagoon where the resident pod of hippopotamus resides. Here you will find the comfortable lounge, dining area and a bar area with one of the best views in the Okavango Delta. A small library and swimming pool completes the main area.
Each of the 10 luxury chalets has a traditional design and use of natural log provide unique detail. The attention to detail and use of local craftsmanship in the construction of the Chalets is particularly impressive and attractive. The units all boast a small lounge and a full bathroom (with bathtub and outside shower).
Game viewing is particularly good in this area, and the trees around the Lodge are home to a huge variety of birds.
Being in a permanent water area, Mapula Lodge can offer year round water activities, especially important during January - May when water levels in the Okavango can become too low in most area’s to allow the use of the traditional mokoro. Walking safaris with experienced guides and tracker, night drives in search of nocturnal animals. In the early morning and late afternoons game drives are conducted in comfortable safari vehicles.

Day 5 & 6
After a relaxed breakfast depart towards the airstrip for your onward flight to the Savuti area.

Spend nights under canvas close to nature in the wilderness of the African night.
Secluded campsites near the watering holes of Savute provide a base for up close and personal adventure and discovery. Carefully positioned as close as possible to the resident game, enjoy the simplicity of camping in one of the top wilderness areas in the world.

Remote campsites in the pristine wilderness form a setting for five en-suite safari tents, combining the natural beauty of the breathtaking setting with comfort and personalised service. Night time noises filter through canvas walls and well-used animal trails take wildlife past the tents on their way to favourite watering holes.

Day 7 & 8
From Savuti you will fly to the little town of Kasane.

Mowana - meaning Baobab, is a luxury lodge situated only 8 km from the Chobe National Park. The park is world renowned for its elephant population - the greatest concentration of these magnificent creatures on the continent.
There are a 107 luxury rooms with full en-suite bathrooms, and 4 suites - all rooms are river facing with air-conditioning, mini bars, hairdryers, tea and coffee making facilities, ceiling fans, mosquito nets and electric insect repellents.
Facilities at Mowana include a swimming-pool, set in a natural landscape; the Serondella Restaurant offers excellent cuisine inspired by the many flavours of Africa; the Savuti Bar overlooking the ever-changing Chobe River; the Boma Terrace for light meals throughout the day and the pool bar; a guest lounge for private entertaining; a hairdressing salon in a tree house, with a view of the river.

Activities at Mowana include walks, mountain biking, seasonal tiger fishing, bird watching, game viewing on a river cruiser or in open-air vehicles with expert game rangers and trackers as well as breakfast and sunset cruises.

Day 9
After breakfast you will be transferred by road to the Livingstone or Victoria Falls Airport in order to be there in time for your outbound flight or other connection.
